Q: How long have you been a DJ?...
Matt: Started mixing records back In 1993 on a set of belt driven soundlab decks and a dodgy little mixer.

Matt: New years day 1995 at a 4zzz gig called underworld @ the tube.

Matt: Funniest?...that would involve Charlie and Simion (they know) but if I told you people would go to jail...
Q: Anything ever go unbelievably and completely fucked up beyond all recognition during a set?...

Q: Your thoughts on the CD vs Vinyl debate?...
Matt: This debate will always be there, but people lose sight when answering this question in my mind, after all it is the final product (the music) that is important here not the medium through which it is played. As long as the end result (sound and quality of it ) doesnt suffer who cares...but vinyl is the first love for most djs my age.
Q: Best gig ever?...
Matt: Hard to finger out just one, there has been so many great nights and each of them holds a place in my mind for one reason or another, the ones that i will always hold dear are the free parties we use to put on @ fingal beach and mt coguar national park....but recently Babeface in Guangzhou and the Smirnoff experience party with Nick Warren and Paul Van Dyk in Shanghai standout.
Q: Worst gig ever?...
Matt: The previous stated gig at the monastery, I have never left so devastated as I did leaving that night(1hr early).

Q: Why the move to China?
Matt: Time was right for a change, I had become complacent in my position in the local dance music scene.
Q: The differences between the chinese and aussie crowds?...
Matt: ozzy crowds as a whole get in to it much more, you have to remember that most westerners under the age of 25 have grown up with this music, some of the crowds I play to in china are hearing it for the first time in their lives.
